AH specializes in the AudioHammock Podcast, album reviews, and columns and blogs that our writers and contributors publish at their own discretion. AudioHammock does not discuss review scores with musicians or artists prior to publish and our staff makes every effort to contain completely factual information upon publication. Artists and musicians may submit content or material to AudioHammock but doing so will not award any favor or special consideration when it comes to published articles. Our writers will not accept any gifts unless they are awesome.
A fan of music and an avid reader, Russ Bashaw can often be found with a good book and a stereo. Currently employed as a Web Designer at an engineering firm, Russ spends his free time listening to music while working on screenplays and a collection of short stories he hopes to one day publish. Russ has a Bachelor's of Applied Science in Web Development from Lewis Clark State College.
Anthony Saia has been involved with college radio since 2008 where he started as a volunteer DJ at KUOI 89.3 FM. From there, Anthony served as Program Director, Interim Music Director, Station Manager and now serves as the PR Director at KUOI. While working at KUOI Anthony was a nominee for University of Idaho Student Employee of the Year, and achieved KUOI Student Employee of the Year for 2011. Anthony has also served as a music journalist for UI's student newspaper The Argonaut and staff writer for UI's student magazine Blot allowing him to interview numerous musicians. After earning his bachelor's degree, Anthony has served as a contributing writer for Metalinsider.net and hip-hop music blog Socovibe.com. Anthony has been interviewed by Billboard Magazine and Metalinsider.net for his passion for all things music and radio. Anthony has a Bachelor's of Arts and Master's of Arts in History from University of Idaho.
Listening to and writing about music from Audiohammock's Washington, D.C., bureau, Dylan finds the fetid cesspool of American politics a rather nice place to live and work. He's a reporter by day, an Idahoan by birth and podcast guest by way of Audiohammock.
After graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in English from West Texas A&M University, Bryan works as a descriptions writer for a TV editing company, and enjoys the simpler things, at least for now. He was 15 when he listened to The Clash's "Combat Rock" for the first time, and he's been a music lover ever since. He regularly updates his blog and Tumblr, has had a few short stories published, and hopes to one day pursue a Master's degree in... something...
Hailing from the mean streets of suburban Boston, Massachusetts, Tim has had a passion for music his whole life. He also enjoys playing sports such as hockey and baseball, listening to music, or playing videogames/being an average high school student. Hobbies include travelling, collecting new records, and going to concerts. Some of his favorite bands include Passion Pit, Bleachers, Modest Mouse, and Spoon.
